::eyes her roommate's Josh Hartnett (sp) posters::

::eyes her own Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust "cel"::

::compares her roommate's pictures of family and friends to her own posters of Inu-Yasha and LoTR::

::studies the string of lights her roommate has put on the top of her bulletin board, and then looks at the little chibi Inu-Yasha keychains she has put on her own::

Hmm, I don't seem like an obsessive weirdo at all, do I? >.>

Well, I'm back at school. I'll probably be online all day tomorrow, since hell ... I really have nothing better to do until school starts, at this point. Sarah, I can't say much about my new roommate just yet, as I haven't really gotten a chance to talk to her (she's not currently here, won't be here for the night ... this happened last year too). I will say that she's definitely not Brooke, which is a step in the right direction. She's definitely not as geekish as me, though ... I'm fairly sure she was a popular individual during her high school days.

Since she has a Playstation, I found Final Fantasy VII at Walmart and bought it, and since I got it as kind of a "try to bridge the gap" sort of thing, like how Sarah and I played LoZ games together (which really impressed me, by the way) ... I can't really let myself play it until she gets back. And I want to play it so badly. T_T

FFIX was also there at Walmart. But I had to make a split-second decision, and I remembered that VII was the one with Sephiroth in it, so that's the one I got.

You little bugger, get off my tablet! ::crushes a gnat::

It's remarkably cool here, for this time of year. It rained a lot, basically the entire trip down and while we were unpacking ... so the breeze feels very nice. Very unlike the sweltering heat of last year's moving-in. But I'm sure that this will change soon, as that's just the way things go.

::butchers a gnat by mushing it against the desk with her thumb::

Despite the nice temperature, it's so humid, cardboard wrinkles.

::ruthlessly squishes a gnat between her fingers::

Ah, school. You'd think the screens would do better than this, but naw.

::pulverizes another gnat::

The soy smell which came across quite strongly while we were in the truck makes me realize ... well, it doesn't really make me realize anything about myself or about school, other than "if you breathe through your mouth, it doesn't smell so bad."

::chases a gnat across the desk:: Whoa, that's one agile bug.

Am I the only person who thinks that it is rude to outright ask someone to friend you? I think you may friend them, and wait, but it's entirely their decision and it should be made free of bother. I'd rather be added because they liked my entries, or my comments in their journals, or whatever, than because I asked them point blank to friend me.

School hasn't even started yet, and the majority of campus still hasn't moved back in. But it's a Friday night and already the Freshmen are partying hard. Jeeze, I just don't get it. They've only been here since Wednesday and they're already out drinki... oh, wait. This city is in the middle of a soybean field. What else are popular people going to occupy their time with?

::rubs a gnat into the monitor::

I feel drained. Five a.m. is not my friend.

::gives up on the gnats::

Ninamori
You are most like Ninamori Eri!

Congrats on getting what's possibly the most normal result for this test! You're an intelligent girl; president of your class. As the noveau riche mayor's daughter, you feel the need to act maturely during family troubles even when your emotions differ from what you say. You let your crushes get to you a little more than they should, but hey, that's normal for any girl, right? You need to come out with your true feelings more often and to stop rigging the results of class votes.

Lookie Lookie!!

I love Soujirou. *_*

I got Kotori on that X character test thing. I didn't really like her in the X movie ... please tell me she's a lot less useless in the manga/OAV/TV series. >.>

Okay, my LJ is not supposed to become my quiz result journal ... people, stop linking the tests so I stop taking them. : P hehe

I was in the midst of making one of those card-things, and then I realized it was turning into a mini-post about Magical Commando Sakaki, so I stopped. o_O;

To hell with this, I don't remember what else I was going to type.

Not really like an obsessive weirdo... Ok, maybe a little, but that's not such a bad thing is it? ^^ Just think, it could be worse. You could be "typical" and care more about Lionardo DiCaprio (in non-death scenes that is) and your subscription to Cosmopolitan and wether or not you'll go out clubbing and drinking tonight, or something like that....

I'm an obsessive weirdo! I just don't look it TT; I want an anime poster. Or just some anime at least. <.<

I wonder if that helped any? O_o *giggles*

Anyway... *glomps*

PLEASE let me know. I'll come down next Wed night (I have Thurs off) if you're ok with that-and your roomie. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...... I want to come back to school!!!!

Hope moving went all right. OH! And wasn't it raining every other time that you've moved at school?

P.S. I need a good alias.

Classes start Tuesday.

hehe, just show up and surprise us. ^_- You'll have to come to classes with me on Thursday, unless you wish to visit the ol' Walmart while I'm occupied with "academic interests."

Nope, it wasn't raining. It was sunshine, and painfully hot. ^_^

Re:
Hmm.. Forgot that I had class on Wed night.. How late do you two stay up? If I came Wed night, I'd be there at 1am or so.. (depending on what time I got out of class and how fast I drove..) What time do you get out of class on Thurs? Let me know. Talk with you later!
One Who Wanders: composedabiona on August 26th, 2002 04:58 pm (UTC)
I've only stayed up past midnight when Mindi hasn't been in the room, and my suspicion is that she'll be there that night because of class. When she's there, we tend to go to bed around 11:30/12:00.

My last class on Thursday ends at 2:50.

But I am a quizwhore! XD

I think it's pretty rude too.

But it's a Friday night and already the Freshmen are partying hard. Jeeze, I just don't get it.

Heh heh... Typical college kids?
I've never really gotten into the whole drinking scene either. The idea of just drinking and getting yourself drunk never really appealed to me... I'd drink only for social reasons, not "to get drunk", if you know what I mean. And being the dork I am, I'd rather just... play video games or something.

What school do you go to again?

I'll tell ya over AIM. ^_^

Hey, I hope that this new girl turns out alright. Remember, she might just be your lifeline to "getting out" every now and again. And even so, you can be very different people, and still have a working, friendly relationship. :)Try not to be put off by her unusual ways ... heh heh ... even the strangest combonations can work out. :) Myself *could* be an example ...

peace

all the best!

"Getting out" ...? Whazzat? : P

Great! You picked FFVII instead of FFIX. I hope you enjoy it, it is a very good game and it will leave you wondering about it WAY after you beat it. And no matter how many times you play it over and over again, it won't loose it's hold on you. Good luck x).

[Sephiroth...crazy lunatic, but he's cool. My favorite xD.]
One Who Wanders: doot doot dootabiona on August 25th, 2002 08:08 am (UTC)
I'm liking it so far (and after eleven hours, I'm beginning to get the hang of the battle system ... x_x; ... although I have a tendency to accidentally attack my own party. ^^; Sorry Aeris!) ...

... there is one thing I like a lot better about the Legend of Zelda games compared to FF ... when I think I'm lost, even if I'm not really, in LoZ I can pull out my sword and work off some frustration on the walls. But in FF, or at least this one, all I can do is run around like a chicken with my head cut off. ^^;;

*hands you her Gnat Spurthwapping Mallet* It's got a +9 against gnats! XD

Oh, and FF7 rocks ^^. Let me know if you need help, though I'm sure you'll be fine. Unlike some people I know ^_^''''''''

Pfffht! Obsessive weirdo? Naaah! Yeah you should check out my room, yes and I have a carry around shrine in my backpack XD but there's nothing wrong with that. ^_^ Nobody cares. I think o_O; they better not. XP

As for Kotori, she's kinda the same in the manga, so far from what I've read. She is very helpful to Kamui though. and later in the series, but she won't start blowin' stuff up like everybody else can, minus the Dream Seers. ^_^;

I wanna see Magical Commando Sakakai! XD I never got around to making it. o_O; block on the words.

::offers her raid even though it probably doesn't work against gnats::

Tablets rule. ^_^ Hope everything goes good for you with your new roommate too!
