What're your thoughts on frames pages?

I haven't really made up my mind, but I'm getting kind of tired of my traditional tables look. I'm leaning towards doing something different than I've done before with Hammerspace.

Am I really someone who always says something but never does it? Fairybane, you tell me not to take you seriously, but you know I can't help it, because I respect your opinion.

I feel uneasy ... tense.

You mean frames for LJ, or for websites in general? I don't mind frames generally, but for LJ it can be annoying... That's just my opinion though. But go ahead and try it out if you want, it's your LJ after all!

hehe, not for my LJ, don't worry. My LJ is staying as is. ^_^ I was thinking about for my "art" site, Hammerspace. ^^

Ohh, okay, sounds cool. I've used frames on some of my pages before too, like my last Sakura Con site, people didn't seem to mind. I'm just "okay" with them, sometimes I won't use them, and sometimes I will. ^_^

Frames, if done well, can be powerful and useful. They're best used if your site has a lot of information. One site I maintain for an RPG kinda IRC channel would be impossible to navigate without frames.
