Well ... I finally officially quit the AB RPGs. ::sighs::

I think it has been obvious for awhile by this point, but I guess there's something to be said for stating it plainly - I am going to return to the anonymity from which I came, and lurk again. My heyday in the RPGs has been over for some time now. When I checked last night, I discovered that ffrpgessa.wpd hasn't been modified since 03/20/02, and my main file ffrpgabiona2.wpd hasn't been modified since 04/08/02. Their combined seventy-something pages sit silent on my computer, and each day that I haven't logged in intentionally since April adds new posts to every thread that I read (which is, or was, every thread in the FFRPG forum, several in the Escaflowne RPG, and the remains of Factory Default). To say that I am "behind" is nearly the equivalent of "Houston, we have a problem."

Nadine of the Escaflowne RPG may be killed (perhaps it has already happened?), Emma-Wren Lane of Factory Default has already died along with the RPG that sustained her. Jain fell with the Factory Default RPG as well. I hope that Abiona Apara will continue on in another's hands; if that person turns out to be you, Zepp, I apologize for adding another NPC to your workload. When next you come on AIM, Zepp or Pen, IM me if I don't IM you first - I would like to know what your eventual plans for Abiona were, and whether or not you think they will still be carried out.

If any of you have questions concerning my characters and/or their history, please feel free to ask me. I will only be logging into AB periodically, so please try to catch me on AIM rather than via a private memo.

Thanks all for taking the time to read my posts, vote me Best Roleplayer last time 'round, and interacting with my characters and me. Thanks go especially to excellent writers Dryden-san, Minwa, Pen, and HeartHavok, whose often lengthly posts inspired me to try harder or cheered me up (Fjorn's "candy coating" comment in regards to Omas' armor will remain in my mind for quite some time). And thanks to Fairybane for bringing me back to AB in the first place, a long time ago.

I'm sorry I've wasted your time or killed your threads by not being here. I've felt pretty guilty about it, actually, especially when I realized just how long it had been since I last posted. And my apologies for not returning any of your PMs ... from when my last login was May 18th. I'm sorry for making you wait so long, Radiskull.

Sorry, everyone. My best wishes to you all.

Good-bye,
Sakaki
