::curses loudly::
I had a nice long post coming along that I was really liking, and by an accident with a click and the back button, it's all gone. Screw this. I can't live on the Internet without AGV's draft function. >.<; I'll try again later.

FYI (or at least Silvermask's, since he said something), my mother is doing well and will probably be released tomorrow.

Hmm.. Doesn't your browser cache what you were typing? Mine does.

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, and today was not a good day.

The client! It's all about the client! Download it and use it, it'll make your life so much easier. Or another way I do it is type my posts on WordPad or whatever, then save, then copy and paste onto LJ. ^_^

I guess it couldn't hurt.

Part of what made AGV's draft function so effective for me was that it enabled me to step back and see how my post would look in the environment I intended it for, and it helped me a lot because I was able to keep going over, and over, and over, and over - small changes, but it was quick to save and then to take me to a "draft preview" screen, where I could take a step back and look at the draft in a different light, make notes, and do whatever else I thought necessary.

sometimes, if I have to post a "booklet", I'd write it on windows notepad first, then copy and paste into the ever-so-unreliable web form.

never fails.

heh, I know it never fails, as I've done that frequently ... eighty or more pages-worth of posts for Animeboards come to mind. o_O;;

It just feels disjointed.

disjointed true... not much of a choice in some cases. Web forms are one of the most haphazard things on the net- especially on high traffic sites like LJ =P

Posted a chapter of Rayearth fanfic on a yahoo group two days ago... sure wouldn't want to type THAT over.
