I'm not a bad player, and I know the tricks to get more lines (though I do not often execute them, or execute them only when I'm just about to die so it doesn't matter anyway) ... I just don't like Tetris that damn much, thank you.
So, I'm waiting for the end of the world to come in Majora's Mask (though I plan to prevent it at the last minute as I usually do if I'm hanging around when it occurs). In the meantime, I'm amusing myself by running around aimlessly and defeating the temple bosses over again (though I started late in the night on the Second Day, I have ample time in which to kick boss ass). Though I still flinch when I get hit, I'm no longer worried about losing my life in the boss chambers - save disaster or stupidity, I'll outlast the boss no matter what. So I've gotten a bit bolder, and more experimental. Well ... that, and the Oni Link mask is awesome.
::Link dons the Oni Mask, and Oldolwa jumps down to begin the fight::
Sakaki - Dammit, he's still huge compared to me. Well, DIE, OLDOLWA!
::Oni Link jumps right on in. His sword does not block as much as a shield does, despite its size, so he gets hit once before Sakaki just starts swinging. Oldolwa takes five or six hits and is down for the count::
Sakaki - ...
::Link looks up. No, no scarabs falling from the ceiling. No hoardes of locusts descending down upon him. Link looks around. No ring of fire anywhere to be seen, either. Link looks down, and Oldolwa dissolves in blue flame::
Sakaki - Yup. Dead as a doornail. No bugs or anything. WHOO!
::Link goes and rescues the Deku Princess like this is something one would normally be doing at three in the morning on a beautiful glowy night with a full, if somewhat intimidating, glary moon::
I really should write down my adventures with the LoZ games someday. Remember trying to kill Princess Zelda? I sure do. Getting eaten by Gyorg? Fond memories, baby.
I miss RO. The more I watch Legolas, the more I want to play as my archer, Sakaki. >.>
