::eyes her own Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust "cel"::
::compares her roommate's pictures of family and friends to her own posters of Inu-Yasha and LoTR::
::studies the string of lights her roommate has put on the top of her bulletin board, and then looks at the little chibi Inu-Yasha keychains she has put on her own::
Hmm, I don't seem like an obsessive weirdo at all, do I? >.>
Well, I'm back at school. I'll probably be online all day tomorrow, since hell ... I really have nothing better to do until school starts, at this point. Sarah, I can't say much about my new roommate just yet, as I haven't really gotten a chance to talk to her (she's not currently here, won't be here for the night ... this happened last year too). I will say that she's definitely not Brooke, which is a step in the right direction. She's definitely not as geekish as me, though ... I'm fairly sure she was a popular individual during her high school days.
Since she has a Playstation, I found Final Fantasy VII at Walmart and bought it, and since I got it as kind of a "try to bridge the gap" sort of thing, like how Sarah and I played LoZ games together (which really impressed me, by the way) ... I can't really let myself play it until she gets back. And I want to play it so badly. T_T
FFIX was also there at Walmart. But I had to make a split-second decision, and I remembered that VII was the one with Sephiroth in it, so that's the one I got.
You little bugger, get off my tablet! ::crushes a gnat::
It's remarkably cool here, for this time of year. It rained a lot, basically the entire trip down and while we were unpacking ... so the breeze feels very nice. Very unlike the sweltering heat of last year's moving-in. But I'm sure that this will change soon, as that's just the way things go.
::butchers a gnat by mushing it against the desk with her thumb::
Despite the nice temperature, it's so humid, cardboard wrinkles.
::ruthlessly squishes a gnat between her fingers::
Ah, school. You'd think the screens would do better than this, but naw.
::pulverizes another gnat::
The soy smell which came across quite strongly while we were in the truck makes me realize ... well, it doesn't really make me realize anything about myself or about school, other than "if you breathe through your mouth, it doesn't smell so bad."
::chases a gnat across the desk:: Whoa, that's one agile bug.
Am I the only person who thinks that it is rude to outright ask someone to friend you? I think you may friend them, and wait, but it's entirely their decision and it should be made free of bother. I'd rather be added because they liked my entries, or my comments in their journals, or whatever, than because I asked them point blank to friend me.
School hasn't even started yet, and the majority of campus still hasn't moved back in. But it's a Friday night and already the Freshmen are partying hard. Jeeze, I just don't get it. They've only been here since Wednesday and they're already out drinki... oh, wait. This city is in the middle of a soybean field. What else are popular people going to occupy their time with?
::rubs a gnat into the monitor::
I feel drained. Five a.m. is not my friend.
::gives up on the gnats::
I love Soujirou. *_*
I got Kotori on that X character test thing. I didn't really like her in the X movie ... please tell me she's a lot less useless in the manga/OAV/TV series. >.>
Okay, my LJ is not supposed to become my quiz result journal ... people, stop linking the tests so I stop taking them. : P hehe
I was in the midst of making one of those card-things, and then I realized it was turning into a mini-post about Magical Commando Sakaki, so I stopped. o_O;
To hell with this, I don't remember what else I was going to type.
