My "doot doot doot" icon was annoying the hell out of me, so I got rid of it. The icon's keywords were rather redundant considering other icons that I've got, so I rarely used it ... that, and the light electric blue background bothered me. Sure, it was a "DDR color" which worked when you saw the whole doodle referring to DDR addicts, but it was just kind of nasty on the icon-crop alone. x_@

I had no doodles with which I could replace it. So, I made a Sephiroth icon out of images so kindly capped by quinctia. No, I didn't draw it, but dammit, Sephiroth intrigues me. I'm an anime/video game fan, for God's sake, why can't I have one icon out of ten be a representative of something that I'm addicted to?

That's the one thing that has bugged me since I started using my own doodles for my icons ... yes, they are more personalized, but I feel as though I've set up a potentially restricting precedent for myself, and that I will disappoint others or somehow fail expectations if I do not continue the trend.

So screw it. As Silvermask phrased it, this is my journal. If I do not have a doodle that I like enough to iconize, so be it. Meet Sephy. I might replace it with other obsessions as they come to be.
