My roommate has moved out (which is great, don't get me wrong), but do you want to know what she cited as her reason? Roommate differences. I almost died laughing when I signed the paper so that she could have a room to herself.
... suffice it to say that I was vastly amused by this little thing. I am also vastly amused with life because a couple nights ago, a stranger called me and asked to use my can opener. In addition, a guy whose name I do not remember walked me from Kirkland over to RTUC because he was interested in something, though I do not know precisely what. Also, D&D tonight was crazy, but thou shalt receive more details on that later (and perhaps an actual drawing, because ... well, you'll see, but try imagining a Tonberry as a highly successful projectile weapon).
Dude, it was awesome outside this morning. It was snowing constantly with the kind of big, huge wet flakes that make a great plopping sound when they hit the slush on the ground. The snow on the ground was neither snow, nor ice, nor water, but somehow all three at once. It was layers of slush under a glaze of water, upon which more white, wet snow had fallen and in patches melted gray. When it snows like this, cool white light fills my room, half-empty now that my roommate has moved out. I love clean slush. I love snow. Whee!
I love the Wagner opera that we're singing in choir, though the high A is quite a reach for me and the high B still a memory of my yesteryears (but my high F and G have become more confident!). God, I love being in there, even though it's hot as hell in that room and there's no ventilation whatsoever. I wish I could major in everything that I am interested in, and I do wish that I hadn't burned out of theatre in high school, or I'd try that again too. I want to try writing again ... a more creative, intuitive style of writing than journalism (and one in which I do not have to interact with the staff of the publications of this university). Supposedly, I'm going to get paid $140 soon for my work last semester. : P
Oowwwah, I should not have looked at Amazon.com. Normally, I'm fairly well-restrained with purchasing things in general, but ... oh, I want that book on Hokusai, and that one, and perhaps another translation of The Tale of Genji ... and this book, and that one ... once a bookworm, forever a bookworm. XD
